Master Builders incorporated architecture, engineering and construction into many of the great architectural wonders of the world; the great Pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal, the Colosseum, Notre Dame and the Great Wall of China.

Today this concept of “multiple disciplines under one roof”, can be found in the design-build process. In this delivery method, a single entity is responsible for bringing all necessary disciplines together, under one contract, to achieve the goals and ideas of the owner and deliver a finished final product.

Design-build does not apply only to large projects but can be successfully applied to an array of project types and sizes.

This process is especially useful to an owner who has limited time, construction expertise and resources, to assemble a compatible project team, in the disciplines of architecture, engineering, and construction.

The design-build process affords the owner the ability to have one source of responsibility and liability in the project.
