Olicon recently completed interior finish on a new 5600 sf space for Family Gateway, a non-profit serving the needs of Dallas homeless children and families. The work included complete demo, new mechanical control systems, an exterior storefront glass entry door, new ceiling and interior doors, lighting controls, new ADA bathrooms and finishes. Completed cost was $408k and will support their non-shelter services, high-volume assessment and diversion practice, administration staff, crisis helpline call center and other vocational services personnel.
Olicon worked closely with Ellen Magnis of Family Gateway, Corey Davey of T. Howard + Associates & building owner Catholic Charities of Dallas to achieve their vision for this resource center. The center includes a large waiting room with receptionist suite, ADA restrooms, a child friendly waiting area adjoining consultation offices, a call center, conference room, six executive suites with staff lounge, break room and a conference room.
